EXPERIENCE
Kori acquired her first tarot
deck at 14, motivated by a deep fascination with the occult and magic from a young age. Inspired by tarot leaders like Charlie-Claire Burgess, The Red Read, Benebell Wen, Rachel Pollack, and Lisa Papez, Kori has dedicated several years to studying and practicing tarot, following in the footsteps of all who dared to pick up a deck of cards and try to make meaning from them.
TRAINING
Kori has training and practical experience in Trauma-Informed Practice, Gender-Affirming Language and Care, Indigenous Cultural Safety, Anti-Racism, Conflict Resolution, Conflict Coaching, Career Development, and Change Management.

Kori is also a life-long student of philosophy and a new and avid student of astrology.

Kori's extensive tarot deck collection, grounded in the Smith-Waite system, is centered on inclusivity, ensuring that querents see themselves reflected in the cards she uses. Each deck, bringing its own unique lens to the tarot, allows Kori to provide readings that resonate deeply and personally.
BEHIND THE NAME
Kori chose the name Existential Tarot to reflect her love of both philosophy and tarot, and the connection she has found between Existentialism and tarot in particular. Existentialism delves into the meaning of life, the search for purpose, and the experience of living authentically in a seemingly absurd universe. Tarot provides a unique way to explore these profound themes!
